Reviews the hard and hybrid coercive methods Azerbaijan used and concludes the de-Armenization constitutes ethnic cleansing and legally meets most genocide criteria, while noting a formal genocide claim is politically fraught. The author is a PhD researcher at Sorbonne Nouvelle.
