    Baar and Baar compare the economic structures and long-term strategies of post-Soviet de facto states after major regional policy shifts in 2014-2016. Nagorno-Artsakh appears alongside Transnistria, South Ossetia-Alania, and Abkhazia in an analysis of dependence and geopolitical constraint.
