    Inpatient residential treatment program for combat-related posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD): Results from the 2020 Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) War

    Among combat-exposed Armenian service members treated residentially after the 2020 Artsakh war, provisional PTSD screening fell from 54.3 percent at admission to 16.28 percent at discharge, although sleep, distress, avoidance, concentration, and memory improved least.

The authors distinguish village-scale collective herding from longer-range seasonal movement and interpret both as adaptations linking livelihood, territorial presence, and globalization.

    Anoxybacillus karvacharensis sp. nov., a novel thermophilic bacterium isolated from the Karvachar geothermal spring in Nagorno-Karabakh

    Twelve thermophilic strains from Karvachar spring sediment and water were screened; isolate K1T combined distinctive phenotypic, chemotaxonomic, and phylogenetic features with 94.5-percent genomic identity to its closest relative, supporting Anoxybacillus karvacharensis as a new species.

    Knowledge, opinions, and practices related to oral cancer prevention and oral mucosal examination among dentists in Moldova, Belarus and Armenia: a multi-country cross-sectional study

    Questionnaires from 1,316 dentists in Moldova, Belarus, and Armenia measured oral-cancer risk knowledge, lesion recognition, screening practice, and examination barriers; limited training and uneven recognition produced a combined mean score of 7.5.
